SUFFIX can be put after noun or adjective

1. adjective + en = verb
sharp = sharpen
wide = widen
less = lessen

2. noun + en = verb
length = lenghten
straight = straighten
height = heighten

3. noun + en = adjective
gold = golden
wood = wooden

4. noun + y = adjective
wood = woody

5. noun + y = adjective
cloud = cloudy ( a lot of clouds )
rain = rainy
wind = windy

6. adjective + ness = noun
good = goodness
happy = happiness

7. adjective + th = noun
true = truth
high = height
warm = warmth
long = length
wide = width

8. noun + some = adjective
trouble = troublesome
quarrel = quarrelsome

1) Word roods (รากศัพท์)
เป็นหน่วยคำที่มีความหมายในตัวเอง
React re = back,again (อีกครั้ง)
React = มีทีท่าตอบกลับ


2) Prefix(อุปสรรค)
เติมข้างหน้า
Ex deduce = duce เป็นภาษาลาติน หมายถึง นำไปสู่
De อยู่หน้าคำ แปลว่า มาจาก
ดังนั้น deduce แปลว่า มาจากที่ใดที่หนึ่ง (to lead from)
